Over my nine years running The School of Greatness, I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with some of the world’s most inspiring people. These individuals have had a wide variety of backgrounds, lifestyles, and core values – but the common trait within all of these incredible guests is perseverance.
Through consistent action and dedication to a cause greater than themselves, these leaders have risen above their circumstances to become masters of their crafts – and I’m so thrilled to have the opportunity to continue learning from them.
That’s why I’m excited to put together this special mashup episode celebrating Black History Month, where the guests we highlight discuss their struggles, triumphs, and lessons learned on their journey to greatness. You’ll hear from the late great Kobe Bryant, Lisa Nichols, David Goggins, Rachel Rogers, Chris Hogan, and Dr. Ivan Joseph.
KOBE BRYANT – Kobe was one of the greatest basketball players of the 20th century. He played for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA (National Basketball Association) for the whole of his career. In his post-NBA career, Bryant went on to win an Oscar for his production, Dear Basketball.

DAVID GOGGINS – David is a Retired Navy SEAL and is the only member of the U.S. Armed Forces to complete SEAL training (including two Hell Weeks), the U.S. Army Ranger School (where he graduated as Enlisted Honor Man) and Air Force Tactical Air Controller training.

Rodgers has been featured in Time, Forbes, Entrepreneur, Fast Company, the Washington Post, on NBC News, and Cosmopolitan.
