Alex Hormozi On Mastering Sales, Making Your First Million & Overcoming Mediocrity

With all the variety of life experiences and within different lines of work, there aren’t many skills that are universally beneficial for ALL areas of our lives. That said, one skill set we should all be focused on improving is our ability to sell. Whether you’re trying to sell your business to a potential client, sell your boss on why you should get that raise, or sell your partner on where you should go on vacation, learning sales will pay HUGE dividends for you in the short term and long run.

It’s safe to say that my guest today is an absolute expert when it comes to the world of sales, and today he’s going to teach us how we can all step it up when it comes to negotiation, overcoming objections, and more. His name is Alex Hormozi, and I’m so excited to share this wide-ranging conversation with you all today. Let’s give him a warm welcome back to The School of Greatness!

“Whatever reason they give you they won't do it is the reason they should be doing it.“ @alexhormozi

Alex Hormozi is a first generation Iranian-American entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist. In 2013, he started his first brick & mortar business, successfully scaling his business to six locations in three years. From there, he spent two years turning 32+ brick & mortar businesses around using the same model that made his privately owned locations successful.

In total, He has scaled and exited 7 companies. His most notable exit was his majority sale of his licensing company for $46.2M in 2021. Concurrently in 2020, he transitioned from CEO to the owner/shareholder position in these companies and founded as a way to invest his own wealth (both monetary and intellectual capital) into other businesses.
