Tim Sykes

Make Money and Make an Impact

I met today's guest on The School of Greatness many years ago, I think at a blogging conference, and we bonded over unhealthy food at a diner.

Fast forward to 2014 and he came on the podcast for Episode 69.

We talked about how to deal with haters, making a fortune trading penny stocks, and why he is so aggressive on his social media.

Fast forward to last week and he came by the studio again for another episode.

But this time, Timothy Sykes and I talked about a different side of business, success, and wealth.

We talked about giving back, and why it’s so important. We talked about how he started his own foundation, why he donates millions to charities like Make a Wish Foundation and Pencils of Promise, and why wealth is boring after a while.

“Not even average effort is going to get you to true success.”

Tim is one of the biggest hearted guys I know. He gives and gives and gives – both through teaching others how to make money (over 800 videos on YouTube!) but also in his friendship, time, and wealth.

I loved talking with him about why he has given so much away, what he has discovered about giving, and why he still posts aggressively on social media.

Welcome to round 2 with my friend Tim on Episode 436.
