We’ve all been there. We’re in the middle of a relationship that we really want to work. Then, eventually when things come to an end, we look back and wonder how in the world we didn’t see the signs that this person wasn’t the right match for us sooner? How did we miss all the red flags that were so easy to see when it was all said and done?
When you’re in the middle of a relationship, it can be difficult to take a step back and look at things objectively. We all want love, so when we’re involved with the wrong person our minds will naturally try to make the situation better for us.
This is why I think it’s so important to take a long look at what you’re looking for in a long-term partner BEFORE you jump into another relationship or start seriously dating anyone else.
This is dating with intention. Finding the right match for you when it comes to a romantic partner should be something you’re as intentional about as you are with all the other areas of your life: career, health & wellness, dreams, goals, purpose, and all the rest. And yet, so often, we take a nonchalant or “go with the flow” approach to dating.
That’s why I wanted to bring together some of my favorite guests on the topic of relationships to explain the 5 major red flags we should never ignore when dating. We’ve gotten great feedback on our other mashup episodes, so I really think you’ll gain a lot of value from it. You’ll hear from Matthew Hussey, Esther Perel, DeVon Franklin, Dr. Shefali, and Stephan Speaks. Let’s get to it!
