What is especially interesting about Jeff Bethke though is that he’s talking about some of the most unpopular topics — religion, Jesus, marriage, and waiting to have sex.
I first saw one of Jeff’s videos about 5 years ago and I still remember being captivated by his energy and the power of his words.
When I saw that he and his wife Alyssa were publishing a new book about how to make love (and marriages) last, I was interested to get his perspective on these topics.
I especially was interested to get his thoughts on what society has taught men about their role in dating, marriage, and love.
Jeff has great energy, so it was especially interesting to hear him tell his story about losing his virginity as a teenager, being addicted to porn for years, and growing up without a dad around.
We discussed why marriages are failing, how they don’t solve anyone’s problems, and why they are still a good idea.
I also loved his perspective on how Millenials can set themselves up to date and marry wisely, as well as his definition of masculinity.
No matter what your values and beliefs around love and marriage, I invite you to listen in on our conversation about how to make love last in Episode 550.
