Having gratitude is critical to keeping life in perspective, finding happiness despite your circumstances, and staying optimistic during times when your will is tested. Without a general sense of gratitude, the challenges that come your way will always seem more terrifying than they really are.
That said, as my guest today explains, having too much unconditional gratitude can actually hold you back more than it can set you free. The main reason is it will make you resistant to asking for a better life and thinking you deserve MORE.
If you’re always telling yourself to be grateful no matter what your life looks like, you’ll begin to believe that’s all you’re worth. Instead, make sure to be grateful for where you’re at while still always working toward your hopes and dreams – it’s OKAY to want more out of life.
My guest today is the one-and-only, Lisa Bilyeu! We cover a lot of ground during our conversation when it comes to empowerment, so I’m pumped that you’ll be able to learn from Lisa like I did. And now, please help me give her a warm welcome to The School of Greatness!
