The 5 Keys to Long-Term Happiness and Prosperity

On a scale of 1 to 10, how happy are you?

We all want to be happy, but sometimes, it feels impossible.

Maybe you struggle with self-doubt, anxiety, or depression, and happiness just doesn’t seem like a possibility for you. Perhaps you’ve experienced a lot of struggle in your life, and the past just seems like it’s playing over and over again. It may not look like it, but even the people who “have it all together” struggle with dissatisfaction and unhappiness.

It’s a fact: Everyone struggles with feeling unhappy at some point.

Fortunately, there are daily steps and habits we can form to live happier lives. Some of these things are physical — like working out, having a healthy sleep schedule, or eating nutritious foods. Other habits are mental — when we break down the negative cycles and thought patterns, we free ourselves from patterns of disempowerment and hopelessness. And some are empathetic — when we serve others, we can better maintain our individual happiness.

Here on The School of Greatness, we’re all about making empowered decisions in our quest for happiness and growth. My guest today has created a career out of studying how to make wiser choices and live a more fulfilling, happy life.

“Focusing on others will make you happier than focusing on yourself.” @lauriesantos
