When you think about healing from trauma, what images come to mind? For many people, they might picture going to counseling or hitting the gym or going on a journey of self-reflection. While these can all be incredible tools to cope with our trauma, fully healing our bodies and minds from it often goes a lot deeper. 

Trauma manifests in our bodies and nervous systems in a variety of ways. It’s only through educating ourselves on the different levels and complexities of trauma that we’re able to better understand it, and make progress in healing from it.
