When it comes to potential business partners, employees, or anyone else I’m considering connecting with or hiring, the top three things I look for are: attitude, energy, and effort. Don’t get me wrong – having talent is important to an extent, but time and time again, I’ve found these three traits to be FAR more indicative of someone’s success than the gifts we were born with.
If you’re able to add positive energy into the rooms you walk into rather than sucking the joy out of them, you’ll naturally begin to attract the life you want. And if you can extract the positive aspects from the adversity you’ll inevitably face, as our guest today will explain, your dreams will always be within reach. Today, I’m excited to share this eye-opening conversation with the super inspiring Inky Johnson with you all!
Husband, father, collegiate athlete, entrepreneur and author, Inky Johnson is one of the most highly sought after speakers in the world. For over a decade, executives, professional sports teams, business owners and people all over have benefited from the raw energy of his thought provoking and inspirational presentations.
Inky was a three year letterman and two year captain on the football team at The University of Tennessee, where he started as a cornerback. Unfortunately, on September 9th, 2006, he sustained a life threatening, career ending injury that paralyzed his right arm and hand. From that day to present day Inky has had a burning desire to use his situation and experiences to add value to peoples’ lives.
