How to Envision and Achieve Your Dreams (With Transformation Coach Chris Lee)

Emotional intelligence is one of the most important ingredients for achieving greatness.

This is true with high performing athletes, championship coaches, and successful business executives.

In this episode we focus on cultivating the mindset that makes a powerful leader in the world.  If you’ve always wanted to have it all… this is the episode that breaks down how to get everything out of life with health, wealth and relationships.

My guest is a leadership coach who I met just six months ago.  The information he taught me (and the unique way I learned it) opened up a new way of applying what I’d know my entire life into daily practice.  I’m so grateful to bring you the inspiring leadership motivator, Chris Lee.

Hi Lewis - First off, thank you for your intention and energy you put into this. I loved the information presented here as well as the dialogue between you and Chris. This podcast really came to me at the perfect time in my life!

Feedback: I found the music distracting; just a thought, have you considered using sound clips similar to radiolab or freakonomics style? Could create a better flow!

Hello Lewis and Chris, this interview was spot on. I never had a problem with visioning and dreaming, however, after some life events, its become more difficult for me to have hope and faith. However, I love the way you talk about how to find out you are in Breakdown, and I loved the steps you said to get out of it.  What came up for me during the private session was seeing myself 50 pounds lighter at my ideal weight, having a successful $ 6 figure (profit) business, and  having time freedom to travel, giveback, donate and invest further into my online education. I was actually crying while listening because this is hitting home big time. Thanks for sharing! :)

This is my favorite podcast by far. I am going to email my boss tomorrow to get him to listen to this. I love the idea of taking responsibility for everything in my life. It's so easy to give the blame to someone else, when that really doesn't do anything for me.

Love this! I went through CC training this past year as well and it was the most powerful experience I have ever had. Completely life changing. Chris Lee is an extraordinary coach. Hope there will be a pt 2!

Thank you Chris - have spent the past 3 days looking at my life, and listened to this. You said a lot of what I've been mulling over. Even mentioning the Law of Attraction - I had re-read the book today. Spooky.  Lewis - Hope you get that passionate woman of your visualisation very soon.

Lewis-

I've been thinking on this since I listened to the podcast and was hoping you and or Chris could share your thoughts.

How do you decide if something is ego based or from the heart?

I'm thinking in context of my current relationship. So much of it is really, really good. But part of me wants a deeper emotional connection. How can I decide is this is my ego wanting this or if it is a true hearfelt desire? How does one commuicate this desire in a way that isn't trying to change the person but is also asking for what you need/want (if indeed this is not just my ego struggling with uncertainty). How can I get this without making the other person wrong and feeling defensive? Or maybe this is as good as it gets? Because most days, it is pretty darn great. In which case, maybe it really is my ego getting in the way. Sigh... see the merry-go-round I'm on?

I loved your discussion with Chris Lee about visualization and appreciate that you provided an example of how to do it.

I would like to share how I incorporate visualization into my own life. I create my own visualizations by creating a short narrative of my life 3 months to 1 year from the present time.I incorporate my goals into that story and write the story as if everything has already taken place and I am sharing (with myself) how the experiences looked and felt. I record the story with positive energy and excitement in my voice, and I listen to it when I wake up in the morning right before I do a 20 minute meditation.

I also use this technique to help guide me through transitions in my life (a move, a new job, an upcoming test).I take myself through the process in a positive and relaxing way while providing details of how the experience will look and feel.I record it, and I start listening to it 1-2 weeks before the event--it is amazing how well it works.Again, I listen to the recording every morning before my meditation, and it is usually no more than 8 minutes long.

Thank you Lewis Howes for creating this podcast and for sharing who you are with all of us!

This was such an inspiring episode. I think that just about anyone can benefit from listening to it. The way the concept of breakdown was presented here makes so much sense and explains all those times when you know you feel unhappy or unfulfilled but don't necessarily know why or what to do about it. This was something that definitely resonated with me. I also really liked how Chris explained forgiveness. Unfortunately, this is an area where I still struggle, but for the first time it really made sense to me why forgiveness is so important. I'll definitely be remembering a lot of Chris's advice from this episode and applying it to my life. Thank you guys!

@bigstatebiglife my gut always speaks to me.  if you feel you are wanting a deeper emotional connection... then what are YOU doing to make that part of your daily life?  Are you expecting someone else to show up and be connected to you... or are you being source to that every day in that relationship?

@Lori Ann Santini Wow! What a great method! Thanks for sharing. I bet your recordings are a very powerful tool. You've inspired me get back to writing. I like to keep a journal of a similar nature. Talking about all the amazing things I've accomplished, and how wonderful life is in general before the events ever really happen. I've not been the keeping up with it lately, and your words have reminded me what a magnificent manifesting tool it is. Thanks again, Lori! Hope you're day is filled with GREATNESS!
