Welcome to our Online Community! We’re so glad you’re here 🙂

This is our space to create magic together. So it’s also our job to keep it a safe, welcoming, and positive space for everyone. With that said, it’s time to discuss a few ground rules for the comments sections and Facebook groups.

GREATNESS RULE #1 Be the Example. Lead with Greatness. The course you are a part of is a supportive community where we can all strive for greatness. In order to create a community like this, we must all be generous and giving. There is no tolerance for bullying, drama, gossip, or toxic energy. You are who you surround yourself with. So if you bring negative energy into this community, not only are you hurting everyone else’s experience, but you’re also hurting your own. Never make anyone feel unwelcome or unwanted for any reason. Even if you have a disagreement, handle it with grace: discuss with grace, respect, honor, and compassion. It all comes back to the Golden Rule: “treat others the way you want to be treated.” Failure to abide by this rule will result in immediate and permanent expulsion from our products without a refund.

GREATNESS RULE #2 Be Generous. Add Value to Others. Don’t come from a mindset of “what can this course/person/Lewis give to me.” The best way to get something out of this course is to give. Always think about how YOU can add value. Share your own progress, and offer support. Always be sure to keep a larger emphasis on giving value, support, and inspiration to the community. The more we can all add to the community, the richer this experience will be for everyone.

GREATNESS RULE #3 No Self Promotion. No spamming or Solicitation. This community is not a place for you to get more customers for your personal business. This is not a place to poach clients for your products or services. Never email or contact any other members of this group without their permission (this includes adding them to your email list). Breaking this rule will result in immediate removal of the program and community without a refund. Again, if you have any question about this rule, ask us first. Email [email protected] and we’ll let you know what we think. At the end of the day, approach this group with love and generosity. Don’t offer someone help only to funnel them into a paid program or an affiliate link. You wouldn’t want your business to grow like that anyway. This is a community of honest, genuine, and caring entrepreneurs. So let your business make money ethically, participate with generosity, and use this community as a supportive system and a family.

GREATNESS RULE #4 Do your Homework. Yes, you should definitely do your best to keep up with assignments throughout any course, program, or product you’re part of. But this rule isn’t about that kind of homework 🙂 Please do your due diligence (homework) before creating a professional relationship with any other member of this community. If you do decide to hire anyone from this community or create any professional relationship (verbal or written) with them, then you are doing so at your own risk. We are not responsible for any outcomes of relationships between members. Get clear, written contracts and service agreements signed. Make sure you know what you’re getting into. Because even though we attract some amazing people here at The School of Greatness, you never know what could happen. The courses, 418 Media LLC, Lewis Howes, or Team Greatness are not responsible for any loss of revenue, damages, breach of contract, or any other poor results due to that relationship.

Not-so-great scenario 1: What if you work with someone and it doesn’t go as planned?

This is the worst, and it kills us when this happens. We believe wholeheartedly that everyone in this community is an amazing human being. But sometimes that’s just not the case. Always make sure to get contracts in writing, understand the terms and conditions of those contractions, and do your own due diligence before working with another member of this group.

Not-so-great scenario 2: What if someone steals your work?

First, make sure you capture screenshots of any interactions that you have had with the person in question. This can serve as your proof. We also advise that you get legal counsel. Using the resources at Digital Millennium Copyright Act can also be super helpful when you are taking action. Then do your best to handle this issue privately. If you suspect that the copyright infringement is from another member of this group, then email us directly at [email protected]. Please include your screenshots and any information you have about the incident. It will make it easier for us to help. If we have to, we will remove the perpetrator from the group.

The Facebook Group

Our online mastermind communities (Profitable Online Courses, Greatness Academy, Greatness Coaching, Summit of Greatness, Legacy Course, and 7 Figure Webinars) are only for paid members who are in good standing. Various members of Team Greatness will serve as moderators for each group.

Now here’s the thing: we don’t control Facebook. If they decide to change their policies, or they choose to charge members of Facebook groups, then there’s really nothing we can do about it. This may result in the limiting or removal of our ability to keep this Facebook group open.

We reserve the right to eliminate the Facebook group entirely if the group guidelines listed above (and below) are not honored.

If you have any technical questions about the course you are in, then be sure to email us directly at [email protected]. Don’t use the Facebook group to ask these questions. We can help you better one on one.

While this Facebook group is a super supportive community, it is not the place to go looking for professional support or accredited therapy. We can give you lots of love. We can’t give you deep psychological counseling.

Any opinions, ideas, advice, or other contributions made by members of this community are those of the author. This means that you are relying on such information at your own risk. So don’t solely rely on advice or opinions given in this group. Use them as data points, and either do your own outside research or seek professional advice.

Please, please follow the guidelines. We want this to be an amazing experience for you. But if you make a mistake, if you slip up, here’s what we might have to do.

We might remove your post without notice. If your post is inappropriate, self-promotional, unethical, hurtful, or at all inappropriate, we reserve the right to remove it immediately. Again, this is because we want this to be an incredible community.

We might contact you directly to let you know that you’ve violated our guidelines. We could also have our lawyer contact you if the issue is serious enough.

We might have to remove you completely from the program and the community.

If you have any questions about the above guidelines, please reach out to us and ask. Email [email protected]. We will definitely answer your question, because we don’t want any of these things to happen to you.

We do reserve the right to change these Community Guidelines. If we do, we will be sure to let you know, and we will post the revised Community Guidelines in the Facebook group for you to see.it
